Carpinteria’s Lima Bean History
Rubenstein Chan Contemporary Art gallery is housed in a historic warehouse building on Palm Avenue that was once the home of Henry Fish Seed Company. Our gallery’s nickname “the Bean” originates from the building’s use as a Lima bean processing facility.
