It’s Complicated

Each of these pieces has a complicated history. I remember the births, hibernations, revisions and re-births.

I’m not scrambling anymore. I’m stepping back and seeing it. It’s not regret. It’s acceptance and the realization that nothing was random.

Pride for surviving. Relief that some chapters are over. Confusion about how the twists and turns happened.

Awe at the complexity, but most of all, grateful.

Complicated doesn’t mean wrong. It means “lived”.
