Max Gleason graduated from Rhode Island School of Design in 2002 with a BFA in Sculpture. He has exhibited in New York City, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara, and has work in collections across the country and in Europe.

In early 2025 Max founded Indah Gallery, a contemporary art space in Santa Ynez with a focus on Santa Barbara County artists. He also hosts "art medicine" workshops at his studio in Santa Ynez, exploring the innate healing power of artmaking.

Max is currently working toward a Master's Degree at Pacifica Graduate Institute, studying the intersection of depth psychology and creativity. His artwork is an attempt to make the unseen seen, to bring the boundless depths of the imagination into the physical realm.
