“This painting on paper is called Samson and the Philistines. It’s taken from the bible when the Philistines blinded Samson and they bring him to the temple in chains where the whole country is there to celebrate their god Dagon.
They tie him to the 2 main pillars that are supporting the temple and make fun of him & he uses his strength to press on the pillars, collapsing them & bringing down the temple, killing himself and all inside the temple.
I hand wrote part of the story about this from the bible.” -Stephen Holland
